Steven Goldman is the creator of the Pinstriped Bible (lauded by Sports Illustrated as “an essential online baseball destination”), which has been around for so long that it was a blog before “blog” came into common usage. Steven is the author of Forging Genius, about the professional education of the Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel, the editor and a co-author of the Baseball Prospectus books Mind Game and It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over, and the last five editions of the New York Times-bestselling Baseball Prospectus Annual. He also contributed to Baseball Between the Numbers, recently listed as one of the “sixteen greatest baseball books” by the Huffington Post, and was a columnist for the now-defunct New York Sun. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
