Have to admit, he's doing this in style.

Corban Joseph, the 26th man for the doubleheader to be sent back down tomorrow, has played three games at first base for Triple-A Scranton this year, but has never played there at all before this year. This should be interesting.Game 2 is not posted yet, but Cano will be DHing and CoJo will be at second base, his normal position. Jack Curry sent that tweet, but Mark Feinsand is saying that only Cano, Gardner, and maybe Alberto Gonzalez will start both games. So CoJo might not be playing Game 2? Guess we'll figure it out soon. Feinsand responded to my tweet asking about it and said Girardi might have just been referring to his regulars, so CoJo could be playing Game 2 after all.
Tonight's lineup: Gardner 8 cano 4 wells 7 Overbay 3 ichiro 9 nix 6 Nelson 5 phelps 1 Romine 2. (yes, it is phelps hitting 8th)

Please let this be true.
Corban Joseph talks about how excited he was when he got the call from the Yankees.
Derek Jeter talks to the media about his injury and the setbacks that he's had to endure along with his frustration over wanting to play.
Arrest report says Yankees prospect Mason Williams was weaving and speeding at 2:45 a.m., then failed field sobriety tests w/ Tampa police.

His BAC was below the Florida threshold of .08 at .067/.062, but he failed field sobriety tests after weaving and speeding at 2:45 am. Super. Even if his BAC wasn't that high, he still obviously should not have been driving if the booze affected his driving that much. Not worth risking his reputation, his life, and most importantly, sober drivers' lives. Sigh.

Awesome. Apparently he pulled an abdominal. Last year's first round pick, Hensley only pitched 12 innings in his Rookie League debut before the season ended. Now, we won't see the 19-year-old pitch again until June or July. Looks like the Yanks should bubble wrap Tyler Austin, Mason Williams, and Gary Sanchez while they still can.
Using a consensus top 100 prospects list between Baseball Prospectus, Keith Law and Baseball America, I added where each prospect will be beginning the 2013 season. Well, almost all of them.
