US PRESSWIRE

A very unfamiliar Yankees lineup takes on the Orioles. Meaningless baseball! No more injuries, please.

Disclaimer: Take a look at the Yankees lineup vs. the Orioles lineup and remember that it is Spring Training. Enjoy the game if you can find some way to watch it. It is on MLB.tv via MASN if you get it.

Position Players: C Austin Romine, 1B Greg Bird, 2B Jose Pirela, SS Walter Ibarra, 3B Corban Joseph, LF Ramon Flores, CF Slade Heathcott, RF Tyler Austin, DH Zoilo Almonte

Pitchers: Bryan Mitchell, Corey Black, Shane Greene, Ryan Pope, Kelvin Perez, Josh Spence, Chase Whitley

UPDATE: The Yankees lost, 5-1. We'll have a recap up in a little while.

SparkNotes highlights include Gardner going 3-for-3, Nix going 2-for-3, and Nuno striking out five in two innings. The only run was scored on a two-out walk in the ninth by Corban Joseph, who then stole second (on a blown call), and scored on a RBI single by Walter Ibarra. Diaz, Rivera, Cervelli, Mesa, and Johnson combined to go 0-for-13. Diaz left six men on base. Way to seize the opportunity, today! Both Heathcott and Austin were retired in their only at bats.
