I know with the couple of trades the blue jays made over the offseason left people thinking that the blue jays are going to win the Al east. Personally, I don't see this happening this year, the chemistry isn't quite there in toronto and that is why I say that They Yankees are the best in the AL east...for now.
After winning the Al pennant, and showing the tigers impressing pitching rotation and signing Torii Hunter, this seems like a easy division to win for the Tigers because i feel that the royals and white sox aren't competative yet. Enough said.
Last year the top three teams seemed to be very impressive in that they were very close in the Al west race. And Even though I love the A's rotation with Parker and Milone, I have to give the Al west to the Angels. The reason why I say this is because the rangers have a 30HR/130RBI player missing, and with the A's, I think that they are lacking one big bat even though, Yoenis Cespedis is Great, I dont think that Cespedes can compete with pujols, hamilton, and trumbo.
AL Wild card 1:
With all the moves I definately belive that the blue jays are my wild card choice- with out a doubt.
Prediction: Blue Jays
Al Wild card 2:
Even though the RAngers lost HAmilton, I still think that they are a good team and, I belive that they will fill Hamitons" position well with a big batin the outfield, by trade of course.
