Many experts just think this will be just another Yankee first round playoff exit. I do not for several reasons.

1. The starting rotation: Last year it was cc then ???. This year it's cc, pettite, kuroda, hughes and frankly i think it's the Yankees best postseason rotation in a while.

2. Ichiro: Ichiro has already been huge for the Yankees this season, and i think he will be even better in the playoffs he has many useful skills he can steal bases, get on base, and drive in runners which has been a huge problem for the Yankees.

3. The Bullpen: Yes, the bullpen has been shaky lately but it is still a solid bullpen with soriano, robertson, joba, epply, and lowe the bullpen can be a big part of the Yankees going far.

4. Robinson Cano: Cano has been as hot as you can be during his 9 game hitting streak hitting well above 600. We all know when cano goes on a hot streak in can last a long time and hopefully it will carry into this year's postseason. If cano hits like he's hitting now he will strike fear in opposing pitchers.
