Where was that in game one? The Yankees offense exploded for five home runs against Baltimore pitching, Ivan Nova battled without his best stuff, and the bullpen kept the O's down to ensure a doubleheader split.
The 2-4 hitters went 7-14 with two doubles and three homers. Curtis Granderson hit two long balls himself and is currently the big league leader with 38, one ahead of Jose Bautista.
Nova allowed three earned runs in seven innings while striking out seven. He "lost it" in the eighth before David Robertson relieved him and (as usual) escaped a bases-loaded jam.
