OAKLAND, CA - MAY 30: Bartolo Colon #40 of the New York Yankees pitches against the Oakland Athletics at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on May 30, 2011 in Oakland, California. (Photo by Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)
Needing just 103 pitches to get 27 outs, Colon was masterful. Scattering just four hits (and zero walks), no Oakland baserunner managed to reach third, and the A's never really threatened to do much of anything. The Yankees bats helped Colon out with insurance runs in the 7th and 9th, so in a non-save situation, The Binder allowed him to finish what he started.
Play of the Game: Tex's first inning 2-rum homer increased the Yankees chances of winning by 18.5%.
