You know what really annoys me is how much the media pumps up the Red Sox. I don't get it they have a high payroll just like the Yankees but for some reason they are always making them to be the comeback kids! I mean really what is the media's deal? Why don't they talk about Tampa Bay and how they are kicking but or how the Reds,Rangers and Padres are in first place. All of those teams are the real underdogs. The Red Sox had the Number 2 payroll but they are portrayed as underdogs right. The payroll of the the Reds is the 19th highest, the Rays have the 21st, the Rangers have 27th and the Padres are ranked 29th. These teams are the real underdogs. I mean don't get me wrong I am not happy that we have two game lead on the wild card and trailing the Rays but I get sick and tired of hearing about the Red Sox. Last year when the Yankees trailed all year you didn't hear them hype the Yankees catch up. If you did hear about it they sounded like they were disappointed. People say the Yankees are bad for baseball because they always win. If that is they case then I would say the Red Sox are just as equally bad for baseball. They spend just like the Yankees, the have players who got caught using PED's but you wouldn't know it because no one talks about that.
When Alex Rodriguez got caught you heard about it for months when David Ortiz got caught you heard about it for a week. The Yankees don't win all the time this last Championship was the first in six years. They don't buy championships because if that was the case we should have won every year since 2000. I think the Yankees proved that last year when they one yeah they spend alot but you can spend 300 million on payroll and if the team does not play as a team they will not win a championship. It takes, talent, skills, and teamwork to win a championship in baseball. So I wish the media would get off the Red Sox's nuts and start giving some respect to the teams who lead their division and the teams who lead the wild cards.
