Leo Mazzone. That's correct - the greatest pitching coach in modern baseball history. The man trained under the tutelage of the great Johnny Sain. Leo hasn't been working in baseball since he left the Orioles but the problem with that team was, Leo works best when the whole system is working WITH him, not against him. In Atlanta, the Braves organization had a way of training its pitchers the same way from rookie ball up to the show. That aside, Leo can get the best out of any pitcher that comes his way and I personally think that the Yankees would be blessed to have him as their pitching coach. He's also a pisan so i'm sure he'd do great up here in New York. Why not? Make a call!
