Via MLBTR it looks like the Royals are listening offers for Zack Greinke. He's turning 27 and just entering his prime. Greinke is a monster with a 3.54 FIP and would be the second best starter on the staff. He eats innings too. The Royals sucked for him last year with a horrendous defense (-44 UZR) where the Yanks have a +12 UZR.
He does have an anxiety condition but if he'll wreck here there's little for people to complain.
He'll likely require Jesus Montero + more. Maybe Dellin Betances. Would you do it? I might because unlike Lee Greinke is younger and cheaper monetary wise. But losing Jesus sucks. But Greinke will be well worth it. Thoughts?
