Argh! The Yankees could have been beating up on these no-name pitchers all along. Seems all they needed to do was get the slugging duo of Angel Berroa and Andy Pettitte into the lineup!
Seriously, nice to see the Yanks take care of business -- finally -- against an unknown pitcher. Even if it did take key hits Berroa and Pettitte.
Pettitte's best pitching performance in weeks -- seven solid innings marred only by a solo home run -- was also cause for celebration.
All-in-all, a good night for the Yanks. Especially with the Red Sox getting pounded by Atlanta.
