PREGAME NOTES: 

Yanks are 19-19 against left-handed starters this season.

John Parrish is a lifetime 0-4, 4.50 ERA, 1.55 WHIP in 30 games (one start) against the Yanks.

Darrell Rasner is a lifetime 2-0, 3.57 ERA, 1.15 WHIP in 3 starts against the Jays.  He is just 2-9, 5.75 ERA, 1.66 WHIP in 15 starts since May 26.

JOBA UPDATE:   Joba Chamberlain threw 35 pitches of BP today.  Pete Abe has all the details.
